Common Sense Media: 14+ Violence 4/5 Language 3/5
Sex 2/5
My age recommendation: 13+ (Due to violence, language, and brief suggestive themes).
When I heard they were making another Fast and Furious movie, I was like "ANOTHER ONE". They already have 8 movies in the series including 2 more coming within the next 3 years. I decided to give this series a try, and it's so far disappointing. The plot is when a deadly virus is stolen, a few agents are sent to get it back, when the virus is stolen back, a new genetically modified cyborg named Brixton comes and tries to steal it, leaving a rogue agent no choice but to inject it into herself. Hobbs and Shaw are called to the case, even though the two hate each other. But they have to put this aside when they realize the rogue agent is Shaw's sister! Soon they find her and have to get a machine to take the virus out, which lead Brixton right to them, causing a showdown. Like I said in the beginning, this movie was a bit disappointing. My main problem with this movie was the way they rushed the plot in the beginning of the movie, and then left all the violence for the end, which doesn't add up well. The plot was great, but the way they presented everything made it seemed rushed. For these reasons I gave this movie a 3 star rating. Overall, this is a good movie for Fast and Furious fans, but not a good movie in general.
