Teen Titans Go vs Teen Titans ★★★☆☆

My Age Recommendation: 7+ (due to strong cartoon violence)

When my brothers heard that this movie is airing on Cartoon Network this afternoon, they were excited and wanted to watch it. I didn't know this was a movie (I thought it was a show), but when I saw the ad, I decided to go for it! This movie tells the story of Teen Titans Go!, a superhero group who one day gets captured by a alien who claims that there are other dimensions out there with different versions of themselves, and the alien wanted them to fight the Teen Titans (the 2003 version of themselves) to prove who is the best. After the alien turns out to be Traigon, he takes both Ravens to try to take Ravens' dark magic from her to make Traigon the ultimate villain who is unstoppable. As the two Teen Titans are forced to work together if they want to get the Ravens' back, the two Titans discover that there are many other dimensions of themselves out there, and they will need all the help they can get to defeat Traigon before it's too late! Let me say, this movie was surprisingly decent. It had comedy, but not too much so the audience wasn't overwhelmed by it. The action was nonsensical at times, but the plot execution (which was also not bad) made up for it. The characters were developed evenly throughout the story, and the plot was a little rushed in the beginning, but the good character development made up for it. Overall, this is a decent movie for the family to enjoy.
