My Age Recommendation: 11+ (Due to smoking, drinking, and mature themes)

I first heard of this movie from a Facebook post my mother showed me, and the post was about the awards and critics reviews for this movie. The story is about a Chinese family who knows their Grandma has a terminal illness and she will die in 3 months. The whole family uses a wedding as a disguise to see the Grandma for the last time. The worst part is that the family decided not to tell the Grandma that she has this illness, and that's why they must keep the secret in no matter how emotional they get around her. Let me start off by saying this movie was hilarious, but still delivered its sad parts when needed. The element of the family being from a country that's not America adds to the story since the characters love to talk about their home country of China. Another great part of this movie was the actors. These actors were really good, especially the one that played Billi (Awkafina). The characters were developed perfectly and I felt like the ending was the perfect addition to the characters. Overall, this is an amazing movie for anyone who wants to see what a modern movie should be like.
