X-Men: Apocalypse ★★★★☆

July 21st, 2020

Common Sense Media Age: 13+ Violence 4/5 Language 3/5 Sex 1/5

My Age Recommendation: 13+ (Due to strong violence throughout, disturbing images, and strong language

After seeing X-Men: Days of Future Past, I wanted to watch the next movie in the series after that one, which is X-Men Apocalypse. This movie tells the story of what happens after X-Men; Days of Future Past. Since Sentinels (robots that kill mutants) were never created, the X-Men was never a thing. 10 years after these events, Professor X is teaching mutants how to control their powers. After the most powerful mutant Apocalypse, who was last alive thousands of years ago, was woken by a cult. With him being the most powerful mutant in the world, he wants to take other mutants powers to make himself even stronger! Will the mutants stop Apocalypse? This was an amazing movie despite many review saying it was 'a waste of time'! It had action, comedy to lighten dark times, and the plot was amazing. Overall, don't listen to the others when they say this was not the best movie, because this one is definitely worth it!
